Congratulations! I was trying to understand Tkzinc today and fired up Komodo (3) and was able to code and debug with Python and Tcl without a hitch. It was a great experience.
I was just wondering; I’ve been waiting for the new edition of ActivePython quite some time, now!
But, I do like Komodo, and I think it’s great that there’s an Edit version for poor students like myself. I’ll be sure to install the Edit beta!
Overall, I think what ActiveState is doing is pretty cool, what with the Python and XUL-based foundation; those are two of the technologies I think are showing the biggest promise right about now.
As an experiment, I'm holding open office hours, Fridays between 10-11am PST. If you use google calendar, you can sign up directly. Let me know if you want to meet in person (in Vancouver), on Skype ('davidascher'), or in some other medium. You can also email me (firstInitialLastName at mozilla dot com), or tweet at me

Great!
Does this mean you’ll start working on ActivePython 2.5 now?

Ouch! No, actually, it’s Trent who will start ActivePython 2.5 work. I’m working on something else I can’t talk about yet…
