When I posted my glib comment about the penguins, I had no idea that it was such a controversial topic! See George Will’s piece in the Washington Post and a followup in today’s NYT (and some of the comments to my original post). Crazy country!

On, I’ll watch the penguins and I will get back to you. My belief in God does not depend on intelligent design, and therefore, I’m interested in why you make the statement you do.
